Feynman is quoted as noting: “I think I can safely say that nobody understands quantum mechanics.” Even 90 years since the fundaments of quantum theory were established, quantum
mechanics remains an enigma. This conference will bring together leading experimentalists and theorists to consider in depth some of the peculiarities of quantum mechanics, the ability to observe them experimentally, and perhaps to come up with new scenarios of quantum effects.
Central topics will include time in quantum mechanics, tunneling and tunneling time, attosecond experiments and fundamental quantum phenomena, weak measurements and weak values and their role in quantum mechanics, Bohmian trajectories, the double slit experiment, the Heisenberg uncertainty principle, quantum threshold reflection, quantum phenomena at ultra-low temperature and more.
