The 68th Annual General Meeting of the International Board of the Weizmann Institute of Science will be held on November 13-16, 2016.
We invite you, our Board members and friends, to take part in this stimulating four-day event, in which we will discuss recent developments at the Institute and future plans, highlight notable scientific achievements, and pay tribute to our worldwide supporters whose visionary philanthropy has helped build and strengthen the special Weizmann Institute brand of excellence.
This year’s program, entitled Building Excellence, is particularly full and interesting, with talks by scientists whose innovations are shaping our future in areas from medicine to physics, and whose research touches the core of some of the seminal challenges facing mankind. We will celebrate the dedications of three new major facilities: the Schwartz/Reisman Center for Science Education and the Ruth and Uriel Arnon Science Education Campus; the Leon and Nella Benoziyo Building for Biological Chemistry; and the Weizmann UK Building for Biocomplexity Research. We will inaugurate new major institutes and centers; shine a spotlight on new and established scientists doing groundbreaking work; confer the distinguished Doctor of Philosophy honoris causa degrees; and much more.
We hope you will join us and we look forward to seeing you on campus.
