The symposium will be held at ICFO, which is a 15-minute drive from the Barcelona airport (BCN) and 1 hour from downtown Barcelona by public transportation.

ICFO, is a young research institution that aims to advance the very limits of the science and technology of light, tackling important challenges faced by society at large in all areas of life, including health, energy, information, safety, security and caring for the environment.

ICFO is a member of BIST, the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology.

All participants will stay at the sb bcn_events hotel, a 1000 m walk from ICFO.

Please note that thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, we will be able to cover the accommodation (Sunday-Friday, five nights) of all attendees (under the assumption of 2 persons per room for students/postdocs).
