The meeting will focus on electronic charge, spin, and heat transport in atomic and molecular quantum conductors. In the last two decades, atomic and molecular conductors have become a versatile tool for the study of quantum effects, energy conversion at the nanoscale, new material properties in reduced dimensions, nanoscale magnetism, and nanoscale chemistry.
Due to the wide and interdisciplinary nature of this research, the study of molecular conductors requires close interactions between physicists, chemists, and material scientists, either experimentalists or theoreticians. In the upcoming meeting we aim to promote the multidisciplinary nature of the field. We expect a vivid and fruitful scientific interaction that will boost new international collaborations, new findings, and new scientific understanding.
