The conference will bring together an interdisciplinary group of scientists and engineers, who work on topics ranging from active vision and active touch to echolocation and electrolocation – in a diverse set of organisms, from rodents and bats to fish, dolphins, humans and robots. We believe that interactions among researchers investigating diverse problems in active sensing will lay the foundation for new areas of inquiry and spark exciting discoveries.
